Music Printing

All the music printed by JULIAN MUSIC is of the highest quality - matching anything produced globally in professional music publishing today.

The Sibelius® notational software used is approved by many leading composers, arrangers, universities and music colleges around the world. It represents the cutting edge of music printing technology and is available to musicians to use creatively - even in their own homes.

JULIAN MUSIC is essentially a 'cottage industry' in terms of its operating size and staffing. The two services we offer - printing manuscripts and selling new catalogue titles - are designed to meet your needs as music-makers and specialist clients.

In all cases, you will receive a full score and a single set of parts for rehearsal and performance of the music you want. Whether you are a concert director, teacher, individual performer, composer, arranger, music librarian or just an interested browser - your needs can be met by us. JULIAN MUSIC is here to "make it so" - in the words of the celebrated Star Trek Captain Jean-Luc Picard.

Scores are generally printed double-sided on A4 or B4 sized 90 gram brilliant white paper and comb bound with plastic spirals and card covers and backs, or transparent plastic covers over the title page and back.

Parts of 2 or more pages are printed on A3 folded 90 gram brilliant white paper. Parts containing more than 4 sides are set out in 'booklet form' with carefully edited turn-overs on odd numbered [right-hand] pages. Any part of 40-60 bars or less can generally be fitted onto a single-sided A4 sheet.

Although having a full set of printed parts will require an additional postage and packing fee, we feel that the 'performance ready' attraction of such a complete package will be well worth the small extra charges.

Emailing of scores and parts can be done for speed of delivery, if you wish. We can send these pages by pdf or MIDI at present. Other formats can be arranged if requested. Your views on printing and sending are always welcome. Technology never stands still and we tend to use what we know works well - so tell us if we are missing something better.
