Costs of Producing
Your Own Scores
The Price
Some scores
can be done in an estimated 2 or 3 day period - a cost of just
£240 - £360 + p&p. Examples here would be:
 |
2
Days - A quartet for horns, some 150 bars. This will require
a score and 4 individual horn parts - perhaps also a piano
reduction for rehearsal or harmonic reference purposes.
|
 |
2
Days - A song score notated from a backing track - 100 bars
or less. Done aurally, without notational references, or
possibly a standard song sheet copy. This may involve a
replacement backing CD for alternative use by the customer,
as well as a full score and up to 6 individual instrumental
and rhythm section parts. |
 |
3
Days - An orchestral cameo or overture - of about 150 bars.
Standard orchestra of 2 flutes, oboes, clarinets, bassoons,
horns (2 or 4), trumpets, trombones, timpani, percussion
and strings with separate double Bass - 20 parts and a full
score. |
 |
3
Days - A Brass Band original or arrangement of a popular
style concert piece with Latin percussion and jazz elements.
Again, about 150 bars for Eb soprano cornet, 4 Bb cornets,
flugel horn, 3 tenor horns, 2 baritones, 3 trombones, euphonium,
EEb bass, BBb bass and 3 lines of percussion (+timps) -
20 parts and a full score. |
