Composition

Many of the scores you find in the JULIAN MUSIC catalogue have been composed by Chris Robinson - over a period of 35 years or so. They vary greatly in their length and content and represent a wide range of style and taste. Some are large scale works, written for a specific purpose or a grand occasion, and some are smaller ensemble pieces of varying difficulty. 

Among the compositions offered for sale are piano solos, organ solos, duets,  trios, quartets, quintets, choral and vocal solo works, brass fanfares, and lots of orchestral, symphonic winds, military band and brass band originals. 

Another major part of the service offered at JULIAN MUSIC is our bespoke score & parts copying. We take your own music in hand-written or digital score form, and produce a professionally printed and bound score & parts to your own specifications. During the inputting/engraving, editing and printing process of your music, some compositional adjustments can be made to enhance the music, or to complete scores which lack some music you may want added. This is a specialist service offered only in particular circumstances. 

Commissioned compositions can be discussed and negotiated in the usual manner of ordering original work. Costs for this kind of composition are fairly high and will depend upon the length and complexity of the music required.
